Superfluous

She always used to think

She’ll leave if she ever felt unwanted.

But when she did

She couldn’t let go of those people.

She suffered alone.

Blamed herself, was shunned

She felt despised

It felt like she didn’t belong there

Sensed undesirability,

She saw the whole thing crumble at her feet

And the thought that she’ll never tolerate this,

Was mockingly laughing at her face.
